Head on over to my Pinterest at http://www.pinterest.com/cavemomblog to view some of the my travel pics!
When I traveled SEAsia I met a 19 year old kid who has been backpacking for 4 months. He was talking more to my friend Jess when I overheard him mention something about just taking photos you know you want to keep forever. According to him a photographer friend told him that. I strongly disagree. How the hell do you know what to keep and what not? The beauty of the new technology is you can delete pics you never want to see but by far I have liked every pics I’ve taken because it reminds me of the great memories and experiences including the most minute detail in terms of where I’ve been and what I’ve done! It’s a constant reminder of every single corner, alley or streets I’ve been in my travels! It re-tells the story of my travels…isn’t that what it’s all about???
Now you be the judge if you want to delete a photo that retraces every step of your way during your adventure and most importantly the stories that it retells whether that story is a fairytale or not. It’s so important to capture memories and document every bit of it.
This is a montage of my travel photos. I hope it inspires you to begin your own journey to seeing the world! It’s only the beginning for me and I was inspired by a lot of people! It only took me a few months to make it happen. Granted I am a mother of two boys and a wife as you can tell I am developing a passion to doing it more! My goal is to keep going and continue with my adventure with my amazing family when my boys are 13 and 10 years of age; currently 7 and 4 respectively. This gives me 6 years to plan our first Round the World Trip!
